Air Intake & Fuel Delivery
There is not much more important for the health and efficiency of your Jeep engine then the air it breaths and the fuel it consumes. If your Jeep engine is sucking in dirty filthy air or the dirt and dust clog your air filter reducing the airflow you are missing out on vital horse power and killing your fuel economy. The first thing you should do on a vehicle is get a top of the line Air Intake and Filter. This will pay you back many times over.
Fuel Deliver is also important. Stock Jeep fuel delivery must be maintained and upgraded where necessary. Start with an good quality air cleaner, then move to an air intake kit that was engineered for your vehicle and takes into consideration proper air flow and restrictions. Once you have the air taken care of, move to your fuel system. You can go as small as replacing your gas filter with a new high efficiency gas filter. There are lots of people that replace their stock Jeep fuel sending units with external ones or put an external inline with the stock Jeep fuel pump for redundancy and increased fuel pump life.
