Start with an good quality air cleaner, then move to an air intake kit that was engineered for your vehicle and takes into consideration proper air flow and restrictions. Once you have the air taken care of, move to your fuel system. You can go as small as replacing your gas filter with a new high efficiency gas filter. There are lots of people that replace their stock Jeep fuel sending units with external ones or put an external inline with the stock Jeep fuel pump for redundancy and increased fuel pump life.
