Make sure you measure properly before ordering shocks for your application. Also ensure you are ordering the proper shock ends. Depending on your Jeep make, model and previous modifications, you could have shock stud, shock eye or shock barpin mounting.
Shock stud mounting is usually found in the front shock mount to the inner fender in the engine bay.
Shock eye and barpin mounts are usually found on the axle side of the shock mount or underneath the Jeep tub in rear shock mount applications. You can buy "barpin eliminator kits" that will essentially allow you to remove the barpin from the shock end and mount the shock like via the shock eye.
